Get Involved

Every woman deserves the right to choose a midwife as her primary care provider.

And, we need the help of consumers like you in order to ensure that all women have access to safe, personalized, quality midwifery care. Become a champion for midwifery by speaking out either locally or nationally on behalf of midwives and the women they serve.

Getting involved means something different for each of us; you might choose to write to your legislators urging them to support midwifery legislation, or refer friends and neighbors to your favorite midwifery practice. You could present your positive midwifery experience to the local media, or even organize a rally to help protect midwifery jobs and education programs in your area.
